Chilling Anti-Obama Speech

I find the Barack Obama campaign’s continuing efforts to use legal threats, pressure tactics, and boycotts to silence speech critical of Obama very troubling. A robust political discourse is the cornerstone of a free democracy. If the Obama campaign is unwilling to tolerate such discourse now, can we trust them with the full might of the state?

To paraphrase Kent Brockman, “And I for one welcome our new liberal overlords.”

<Now, pretty please, don’t send me to a reeducation camp.>

Such hypocrisy when the Bush administration has been trying to silence anyone who disagrees with them from Day One!  The Clintons have indeed Redeemed themselves and have united the Democratic party. However, Media wants you to think that Dems Convention was a bust (no red meat - vegatables are so much more healthier to the system, however) But, what the Dems did accomplish and which is stronger than all the red meat/anger in the world is UNITY/Love, because a house divided cannot stand! Watch out and be on Guard for those who want to Divide because make no mistake about it a united group is Powerful, Strong, Unstoppable.  Now they want to belittle and divide us by unmeaningful and trivial talks of pillars and temple, some seem even Obsessed by it.  They are like rude and jealous children who make fun of a beautiful or gifted person—making fun of their clothes because they are not satisfied within themselves, all the while secretly wishing they looked like that or had that gift. People of Change, People of the future, be on guard!

For those who want accurate news analysis, do yourself a favor and “watch C-SPAN for convention coverage and get yourself psychically cleared. Stop watching cable news channels. The MSM is desperately working to program us morning noon and night. And creating despair amongst those who are openly hopeful about 2008 politics is very easy. Just bust the bubble that gives you room to believe that change can happen and the rest falls away. Including your own sense of self-empowerment. Believe it.”

Legal threats, pressure tactics, and boycotts are all legal, and are in fact part of the “robust political discourse” that has gone on in this country since its founding.  Both parties have long been guilty of this.  (I, myself, had hoped that Obama was above this sort of thing, but finding out that he isn’t is far from a scandal.)

Let me know when Obama starts silencing government scientists whose conclusions he finds inconvenient, or accusing his political opponents of “giving aid and comfort to the enemy”.

Stop it, you’re breaking my heart with your story.

Whatever happened to:  “I may disagree with what you say, but I’ll defend to the death your right to say it”?

Anyhow, the cover up always is worse than the crime.

This isn’t as ‘direct’ as the means the Clintons used to silence David Koresh, et al in Waco, TX.

But, that’s okay the powers that be at that time wanted to give us all health!  And, they kept abortion legal!  Two out of three ain’t bad!  Would lead the America League.

Now, I see the rationale behind gun control.

I feel sorry for you, Prof.  They couldn’t pay me enough to spend so much time among liberal idiots.
