Daley Machine Protects Obama

Chicago Tribune writer John Kass reports on Chicago Mayor Richard Daley’s efforts to conceal evidence of Barack Obama’s relationship with “former Weather Underground terrorist William Ayers.” When Saint Barack is getting all holier than thou, it’s important to remember that he’s a product and protege of what remains one of the most corrupt city political machines in the country.

He’s got a lot of dirt on his hands, nobody coming out of the Daley machine is clean.  Unfortunatley, McCain is a warmongering hack and will never lead us out of the land of deficits.

When Daley’s father, Richard J., ran the city, the intellectuals were his opponents.  They used to sneer at Richard M., the current mayor, for allegedly being stupid.  I recall a party where several left wing lawyers sneered that he passed the bar on his fifth try.  Well, Richard M. is not merely massively corrupt like his father, he may be an even smarter politician.  He figured out that the intellectuals can be bought for chicken feed.  Thus do we get the UIC crowd doing Daley and Obama’s dirty work, apparently quite happily.
