Tung Yin makes the case that electing Hillary Clinton would amount to a third term for George Bush in style if not in substance:
Obviously, I don’t mean that Clinton, if President, would duplicate Bush’s policies. Rather, what I mean is that she strikes me as most likely to replicate the Bush Administration’s approach to dealing with the opposition and the public: a malleable understanding of truth and reality; and questionable judgment about and excessive devotion to blindly loyal subordinates.
He goes on to make the case at some length.
True as far as it goes, but it is worth noting that Hillary is far more intelligent than Bush, far more administratively competent, far more likely to hire competent people.
How do you square that with HillaryCare? And don’t say the Republicans blocked it. An administratively competent politician would have been able to get things done (similar to, say, Bush’s ability to routinely get the Democrats to do his bidding even though his approval is in the low 30s).
I didn’t say she was competent. I said she was more competent than Bush.

It was Obama who said that any of the three main candidates would make a better president than Bush. True!
