One Flip Too Many for Mitt

From Erick at Redstate.org:

I'm tired of running into these stories [of Mitt Romney's flip-flops on issues and, now, parties]. I'm tired of the hedges. I'm tired of the dodges. And I'm tired of the caveated nuance. So let me put this straight and bluntly. I'm more than happy to support my man Mitt if he is the Republican nominee. But, like Hillary Clinton, he is a political opportunist who I increasingly see as someone without principle, only a weather vane.

Agreed. If Romney's the nominee, I'll sit out 2008. Ditto McCain, a position on which I've been firm since 9/2005.. At the moment, this leaves me with Rudy by process or elimination. Oh joy.

Anyway, as for Mitt, let's go to the video:

Maybe Romney can use the campaign sloan “Support me because, no matter what your views, I agree with you!”

Everyone knows he’s a male version of Hilary who will do say or do anything, adopt or abandon any position, in order to get elected.  Frankly, he’s not even as good at it as Hilary, who’s a lot more careful about staking out positions.
