Pandering in the Eye of the Beholder

Why is it that when GOP candidates make the now requisite pilgrimmage to Bob Jones University in South Carolina - an institution with a long history of anti-catholic and racist policies and attitudes - it’s called politics, but when GOP candidates hold a Spanish language debate it’s called ”pandering”?

Because the GOP has such a long tradition of pandering to anti-Catholics and racists that it’s not even considered pandering any more - it’s a necessary step for any Republican with national ambitions.

Uhhh because when they show up at Bob Jones, they speak English?  Given that English knowledge is a requirement to get naturalized, voters should be conversant in English.

But hey, that’s probably just a mere technicality to an open borders guy like you.

The South Park episode <a href=http://www.southparkzone.com/episodes/808/Douche-and-Turd.html>"Douche and Turd"</a> is making more sense all the time.
