Quantcast says my old PB.com site was “popular among a more educated, largely male, primarily older, more African American, more affluent audience. The site’s visitors’ interests are political (realclearpolitics.com, townhall.com, dailykos.com, huffingtonpost.com), entertainment (The Smoking Gun, Drudge Report) and magazines (US News, Business Week).” I have no idea how they figure this stuff out, and frankly find it a little scary that they can do so. But, in any case, it’ll be interesting to see if the audiences for the new topical blogs differentiate.
