In Proverbs we are told that “When the righteous prosper, the city rejoices; when the wicked perish, there are shouts of joy.” UCLA won; USC lost. Cue rejoicing and shouts of joy.

Proverbs 30:15 also says:
“There are four things that are never satisfied, five never say ‘enough’. The grave, the barren womb, the earth that is not satisfied with water, the fire, and the UCLA Bruins with their 11 national championships.”
Of course, I think that’s from the Living Bible which isn’t as reliable a translation, but still…
